ALEX DURAN Executive Director

Alex manages the facility at Fitwize Academy in Coral Springs Florida. A United States Marine veteran with a Masters degree in business and has published 2 books on bullying and obesity. Being exposed to wide array of illnesses, he saw our youth experience diabetes, seizures, and other illnesses. In response, he studied health issues on obesity and inactivity. Fitness is essential to physical and mental fitness. This experience inspired him to be a hero in my community in helping children live long, healthy lives. His true calling is working with low-income and children with special needs. Also Alex is frequent youth motivational speaker for youth groups including the PGA Golf for Kids Program, Broward Hospitals, Broward Middle Schools, and others.

ALFREDO CAJAR Director

Dr. Cajar has been in practice for over 18 years. In 2013 he combined his passion for chiropractic, Holistic health and vitality by opening Beach Holistic Healthcare. The goal of the center is to improve health through chiropractic care, clinical nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Dr. Cajar is confident that by educating and treating his patients they will retain lifelong health improvements. Taking pride in his balanced lifestyle, Dr. Cajar has been avidly training in and teaching martial arts for over 25 years. Dr Cajar currently trains Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at Moncaio Brothers Jiu-jitsu and is the team Doctor. Dr Cajar has experience and is able to treat many types of sports related injuries.

ROD PAYNE Director

Rod Payne is a former professional American football center who was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He is also a former All-American center who played for the University of Michigan Michigan Wolverines football team from 1993 to 1996. He won a Super Bowl with the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. He became a high school football coach and was named the 2007 South Florida Sun-Sentinel Class 3A-2A-1A Coach of the Year. In March 2009, Payne was announced as the Defensive Line Coach for Florida Atlantic University, marking his first foray into coaching at the collegiate level. After leaving Florida Atlantic, Payne was named the Head Football Coach at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, Florida. Payne stepped down from his position as coach of Spanish River High School after a losing season of 0-10 and now is a personal fitness trainer at The Facility for Personal Training in Boca Raton, Florida
